REMEMBERING LISA

Vineyard with molly 2019_edited.jpg

Reflecting Light came about in remembrance of my wife Lisa Kimmorley who passed away from breast cancer in June 2020.  Lisa was a keen teller of the story of land and light through two mediums; photography and viticulture.

It is hard to put those two words in order of Lisa's preference as both were why she got up each morning, to make the most of what the light was offering.  But photography was certainly her first passion and with that, she has left us many memorable images. All photos, whether on the website or on the bottle, are hers.  As for viticulture Lisa was also the vineyard manager at Curly Flat Vineyard from 2009 to 2019 and put her heart and soul into every vintage.

Lisa had many other loves too, including her family in Wales, her Labrador Molly, gardening, and a glass of good Chardonnay at the end of the day.  This was the sole driving force why White Feather Chardonnay was made, to raise a glass to Lisa and say you will never be forgotten.

Please take the time to check out a small selection of Lisa's photos here or visit her photographic blog via the link below.
